Dry squirrel cage induction motor, insulation class F to work on 415 volts or 550 volts, 3 phase, 50 c/s. supply. The motor is designed as per IS:325 & suitable for 15 starts / stops per hour. The motor housing is suitable for IP65 protection.
Thermal Overload Protection : Thermal overload motor protection to prevent over heating of the motor winding & terminals of the same shall be brought on to motor terminal board.
Cable entry arrangement : FLP 30 A Plug & Socket arrangement Suitable for 4 core, 16 Sq. mm ( FT-7) trailing cable as per IS:14494 & DGMS approved. Also PLC-2 Cable arrangement through DC Gland for FLP Push button Station for On/OFF.
Pump can handle water containing suspeded coal particles of maximum 10 mm
Motor at top and suction at bottom. Mounted on skirt base.
Lifting hook at top, to lift the pump, rope or chain can be tied to liiting hook.
Vertical 3" flange with internal thread is provided to the pump casing. Discharge pipe is to be connected to this flange.
On the top of the pump plug and socket is provided. 4 Core cable + earthing is to be connected to the pump. Three core are for E, Y & B power supply and fourth core is pilot wire with PLC-2 / PLC -4 cable earthing to be provided.
D.C. gland is also provided with ON - OFF remote switch.
Installation
Connect discharge pipe to the pump.
Place the pump in the pit from whcih water is to be pumped.
Water level should be below the red mark shown on the pump.
Connect power cable to the plug.
Do the connection of the other end of power cable to the control panel.
Connect plug to the socket of the pump.
Start the pump from the panel. Do the phase reversal and check the direction of rotation.
Pump will throw more water when direction is correct.
